TankinatorLANs is a
organisation that holds LAN (Local Area Network) Gaming Events,
otherwise known as LAN Parties in the Kempsey area.
Many people attend these events from all over Kempsey, Port
Macquarie, South West Rocks and other places.
The location that these TankinatorLANs events are held is now
equipped to hold a maximum of 150 people and their hardware.
To attend a TankinatorLANs event you will need to first check
when the next event is happening by clicking the link at the top
of the page that reads "LAN Events" selecting a upcoming event
that you would like to attend and fill out the registration
form. A majority of the TankinatorLANs events are free because
we organises these events for pure enjoyment. Only sponsored and
tournament events require ticket purchase.
Tickets for sponsored and tournament events cost $25 and will
get you a half a table, one network port, two power points, six
cans of a selected soft drink of your choice and food, the food
will be announced on the registration page of the sponsored
and/or tournament event.
As you would usually expect of a LAN event, events held by
TankinatorLANs are Drug and Alcohol free. Tickets and Access
Passes are to be presented at the point of entry to the location
in which the event is being held at.
To register and attend a TankintaorLANs event you have to be 14
years of age or older and have permission if under the age of
16, from your parent(s)/guardian(s) to attend the event and be
allowed to play a range of games ranging from FPS, RTS and
Driving/Racing games. TankinatorLANs Co-Orators and Staff will
not be held responsible for your safety at our event if a
persons under the age of 16 does not have legit consent from the
appropriate authorities mention above.
When attending a TankinatorLANs event you must bring your own
system also known as a personal computer or PC. The PC must
consist of a recommended Laser Mouse (not wireless due to
frequency interference), keyboard (again, not wireless due to
frequency interference), a monitor preferred 17" or 19" LCD's to
save space but CRT's are welcome if the size is 17" (no wide
screen LCD's permitted), No speakers (bring head phones or
headset) and a tower. Your PC must have a minimum optical drive
requirement of 16X DVD Player and a graphics card with a minimum
of 64 - 128MB.
